FAIL!

I have failed miserably at this blogging thing...well at least I think I have.  I read so many different blogs and they are updated regularly. I wish I was an open book but I'm not.

::sigh::

In any event, I will try and post more.  Whether it be with recipes, blog challenges, complete randomness, or our everyday life that keeps us super busy.

Garage Remodel 2010!

Our biggest DIY project yet....insulate and finish the garage.  The fun started on September 23 with Shaun tearing down some drywall that was already up....what a mess!!

A few more before pictures:

Then my parents came over on the 24th and we went to town!!  Well at least Mom and I did.  The guys "thought" a window instillation would be easy...wrong!!

Most of the insulation up!!  Go Girls!!

First sheet of OSB going up!!

Dad and Shaun working on putting more OSB board up

The old garage door that we amazingly sold that weekend!  Thank God for Craigslist!!

The ceiling almost complete!!  Went by fast after we got the first one up!

Umm..wow...what a horrible picture of me....do I look tired or what??

Daddy D cutting some OSB board!

The boys nailing up the last ceiling piece!!

Yay!!! It's starting to look finished!!

Keith, my brother, looking puzzled as the guys try to install the new garage door....

The first section of the door in!

The aftermath....

The garage door/opener parts...

More messiness....it drove me nuts!!

Almost done!

Ahhhh...much better, but still have some things to finish!

Mom and Dad looking at a job well done!

Shaun doing the same...

Sadie checking out the "new" garage...not so sure of it...

The fancy new opener!

There were so many people that helped us that weekend, my Mom, Dad, brother--Keith, sister--Angie, my BIL--Tim, my friend's husband--Mike, Shaun, and me!!  We couldn't have done it without all their help!!  Thanks so much!

It's still not completely finished...we have some insulation and OSB board to put up right next to the house, and one more window to install.  We also have to figure out orginzation of Shaun's "toys" and other outdoor things.  I'm definietly looking forward to a warmer garage this winter!!
