Dear Tavin: Month 3

Dear Tavin,

Your first weekend (May 19-20) was Dad's graduation.  You were quite the trooper as we sat in the nose bleed seats!

Uncle Keith even held you for the first time with some slick actions of Syd.  Looks a little nervous.....

 Smiling at Grandma!

Lunch at Great Dane and you were still in a good mood

And then passed out on Grandma...
I have yet to master this "move".   Sometimes I wish Grandma lived with us just to help put you to sleep!

After eating out we went home where you "worked out" with Dad.  Before we know you it you'll be lifting the big guns!

The next week, I caught you chilling with Dad

Aunt Leanne even stopped for a visit and got you giggling!

Your first Memorial Day weekend, we were of course at Grandma and Grandpa D's!  We even gave you a bath while we were there and decided to give the mohawk look.
My favorite picture to date of you!  You're looking like such a little man!

You are starting to fight sleeping.  You just want to go, go, go.  So much to see so much to do!  But when you do fall asleep you are rather peaceful!

The week of June 3 was a first!  You slept through the night every day of the week!  And even on Saturday (June 9), you slept until I woke you up at 9:30 a.m.!!!  It was awesome!  I was feeling good and was actually able to get quite a bit of stuff done before you woke up!  But after that, you went back to waking up a few times at night.

The weekend of June 9 and 10, Grandma and Grandpa D. came over to help us get yard work and housework done!  Who knew it could be so hard to get stuff done with an infant!

You were even helping Grandma with getting your diapers off the line :)

We did manage to get quite a bit of stuff done but still have so much to do!

Next up was Father's Day.  I managed to sneak some pics of you while Dad was out playing volleyball.  They turned out pretty good considering you were very sleepy.

The weekend of June 16 we went to Grandma and Grandpa D's again and you were able to take a few pics with your cousin, Quinton.
And sleeping again after Grandma put you down..

Phew!  What a month!!!  It seems we are always going somewhere and doing something!
 Your new favorite things...your fingers!

You're getting a little too big to sit under the monkey like previous months
Such a smiley boy!

You are starting to like rolling around on the floor and just hanging out by yourself!  Way easier for us to get stuff done!

You are also starting to get some personality and I can't wait to see the rest of it come out.  There are times I don't know if we are doing things right, but you seem to be happy and healthy so that's all that counts!

Love,
Mama
