The Beginning....

So here I go...the very first post to my very OWN blog. Who would have thought I'd be doing this? A lot of my "nesties" were doing it and I thought it'd be really cool to join in. Also it'll be nice to be able to look back to see how my/our life changes and progresses over the years.

Just in case you don't know. Here's a look at who "Shmel" is....

And our furbabies:

Tuxedo aka Kitty: She is Shaun's cat from before we met. Shaun doesn't remember how old she is so we are guessing she is around 10 or 11. (Maybe we should pick a date for her birthday!) She is deaf but sure has enough attitude to not be! Maybe she just chooses not to listen!



Sadie Jane: We adopted Sadie from Basset Buddies Rescue in March 2008. She will be 4 on July 15!! She is truly a blessing. She is definitely a mama's dog as she comes to work with me quite a bit. Don't be fooled though, she has her faults, like counter surfing, but there is nothing like having "man's best friend" around.
