Kitchen Remodel - Week 1

It's here!  OMG I can't believe it's finally here!

Before pics:

Day 1:  They took the upper cabinets and soffits down.  The contractor said there was no major problems in removing the soffits.  Just (1) finding some sink pipes (?) in one section and (2) finding them stuffed with insulation which made things very messy and dusty.

Day 2:  Installed lighting and added drywall to where the soffits were.

Day 3:  Finished patching the drywall

 

Day 4:  Completed drywall patch and popcorn ceiling patch.  Also took out the rest of our cabinets and sink!!!  Sucks not having anything in the kitchen!

Day 5 & 6:  Shaun stayed to paint while Tavin and I went home to my parents. We went with this color from Sherwin Williams.

I can't wait for it to be finished!
