An August Wedding

This past weekend, Shaun and I headed "up north"...way up north to attend his cousin's wedding.  It was quite the interesting day but we still had fun spending time together!

The ceremony location:

The groom and "minister"

The groom's parents

The bride's brothers escorting their mother:

Bridesmaids

Ring bearer (stand in.  This guy is a trooper!  He was asked that morning and did an excellent job!)

The bride and her father

The ceremony was quick (only lasting 10 minutes) and sitting in the second row we could hardly hear a thing :(
And done!

Us after the ceremony!

Shaun's cousin and his wife (and kids) came up from Georgia.  We don't get a chance to see them that often so it was nice to get a pic with them!

So after the ceremony, we had quite a gap to fill.  We spent some time waiting for family pictures and the other half we went to a restaurant to get a snack.  It was nice to catch up with Shaun's relatives that we don't see much of!

The dinner was at 6 and it really wasn't anything spectacular.  The food presentation was rather interesting.  Some of it was better than others!

Then the dance started at 8......

Bride & Groom's first dance

The bride and her father
Groom and his mother (sorry for the fuzzy picture)

After those dances were done it was pretty much the end of the day.  Shaun and I tried to get the dance floor moving but it was no use!

We learned a very valuable lesson during this wedding, after Minocqua there is NOTHING in Northern Wisconsin!
