Sadie's First Catch!

A few weeks ago I was in the backyard moving some stuff by our rocks (that I was getting rid of).  Sadie was outside with me and started hunting!  She was on the trail of some bunnies (they live under our gazebo..so annoying).  Her nose led her into the fenced in yard and so I let her in there.  A few seconds later I heard squealing and saw that she caught a baby bunny.  Now the animal lover in me said "oh I should really rescue it" but the angry garden, growing homeowner said, "it's only one and besides there are foxes in the neighborhood".  So I let her have her fun!

Then the bunny finally met it's demise after about an hour (poor thing).  Ms. Sadie Jane was the happiest puppy ever!  She was so proud of her catch and didn't want me to take it away from her.

A few days after the great bunny killing incident, we had a rather large bunny show up dead in our front yard by our mailbox.  It had gotten hit by a car.  Needless to say two dead bunnies in our garbage doesn't smell good after a week!
